Il s'agirait de la vente de Poljot auprès d'une compagnie suisse pour ne plus passer chez tonton Hayek !
"This summer rumors started about a big swiss watch company beeing
in negociations to buy the entire poljot movement factory in moscow
for the production for their own needs only - after the ETA company
of the SWATCH Group was restricting their movements (the last series
of 2824-2 is in the POLJOT Automatics, no more will be used) for
brands which belong to the SWATCH group like OMEGA, BLANCPAIN, TISSOT,
BREGUET (see swatchgroup.com).These talks took place and they seem to have ended in kind of a co-
operation. All we know for sure is that there will be a bigger change;
POLJOT will probably no longer exist as a watchbrand and the production
of 3133, 2612 .. will be improved and more expensive. In the future,
only BURAN, STURMANSKIE, AVIATOR, NAVIGATOR watches will come out,
they will get even more expensive and - we are glad about that! -
